Wood Finish
AC CLEAR LACQUERS
The Luxor Woodlux range is specially formulated to give good build, quick drying and a tough, flexible film with a smooth finish for interior use. It’s mainly used by manufacturers of cupboards, kitchens, bars and other specialized wood products that require a protective varnish film, Available in Sealer, Matt, Satin or Gloss finish. It uses an acid catalyser to harden the product. A range of wood stains is also available.
VARNISH
We supply a range of varnishes from Copal clear varnish to tinted varnishes in the following colours: Dark oak, Teak, Natural oak, Mahogany, Imbuia and Oregon pine.
WOODOC
Woodoc penetrates deep into the wood and bonds with it, giving it a flexible yet tough and resistant surface finish. The Woodoc surface allows the wood to breath naturally. It works in harmony with the wood, much like bark does, to help combat ageing and deterioration. This flexible Woodoc coating doesn’t become brittle with age but stays in harmony with the wood. Woodoc is food for wood.
WATER BASED MARINE VARNISH
Our collection of water-based marine varnish provide extra durability and abrasion resistance to wooden decks, furniture or any wood related product in and around your home. It’s a hardwearing acrylic resin blend varnish. Available in clear gloss and clear suede.
OIL TREATMENT
We supply a range of oil treatments for wood like Raw and Boiled Linseed oil, as well as Burmese teak oil. Non-film forming (as opposed to varnishes) Waterproof, elastic and wear-resistant Satin finish. Colours appear golden to amber, it’s affordable, easy to use and ecological. Enhances the beauty of the grain, has an extended drying time.
BITUMEN BASED TREATMENT
We supply Creosote and Carbolineum which is a bitumen based wood treatment mainly used for gummed poles and fence lathes. It has a pungent smell and has an extended drying time based on the thickness applied, it’s good for treating wood to protect it against insects.
